Arthur M. Cotliar, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Eye Care & Surgery in New York City, which has two locations in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and another near the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, right across the street from Yankee Stadium. Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in Washington Heights, Manhattan.

Dr. Cotliar is an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where he trains residents and fellows. He lectures students and ophthalmologists nationally and has authored numerous articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and ophthalmology textbooks.

Throughout his career, Dr. Cotliar has performed many thousands of cataract surgeries. He has received extensive TV press coverage nationally and internationally for his innovative surgical procedures, especially keratoprosthesis – a highly specialized corneal operation that can restore vision in blind patients.

Dr. Cotliar maintains his credentials to stay up to date with the latest advances in ophthalmology.
